With a French father and Jamaican Mother, Adrien grew up in a world of blended cultures. Early on, Adrien developed a love of travel and exploration, starting with his homeland: Jamaica. As a teenager, he would often tour the island with his friends and family, sampling the food and speaking with the locals to uncover what was special about each place he visited. This was not idle folly; he was on a mission. Adrien enjoyed unearthing the authentic Jamaican experience and his friends enjoyed getting pulled along on his journeys. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Languages at the University of the West Indies and a Degree in Musicology from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, Adrien’s professional career path began at L’Ambassade de France a Kingston, where he worked in the Consular Accounting and Press department for six years. As the resident Jamaican Explorer, Adrien was often tasked with creating tailored leisure experiences for his French co-workers and their visiting friends and family. After many successful trips, the French Embassy put him in charge of building corporate logistics packages for visiting French officials. This is where Doctor Bird Services was born. From here, Adrien honed his logistics skills. He joined the Norbrook Equity Partners group of companies, where he managed and developed a number of platforms ranging from Car Rental, Trucking, Freight Forwarding and Island wide logistics and distribution. After 15 years, Adrien has married his love for Jamaican exploration, his ability to create personalized luxury travel experiences for others with his logistics training. It is his passion and the culmination of his life’s work (so far) and he is happy to share it with you.
